Matassa is part of the Trigento group, which aims to become one of the leaders in the international retail sector, and for this purpose, its business model includes franchising opportunities. It was founded in 2013 in Italy with the Phonup project, that today features over 50 stores in 3 different continents.

Every restaurant has an on-site pasta lab that produces fresh pasta daily. We buy locally to guarantee fresh ingredients with zero-mile domestic agricultural products.

Our recipes reflect Italian, Chinese and Japanese traditions but every location adds an extra touch inspired by local cuisine.

Our low prices still guarantee high profit margins thanks to low food costs.
Matassa’s locations are expressly small because we focus on take-away and delivery services.

Our customers can order and pay for their food thanks to an innovative menu available on tablets placed on every table.

Managing each location is very easy thanks to simple procedures and effective training that can be completed online thanks to our proprietary software.
